COMMUNITY ACTIVITIES IN OLIVER'S BATTERY

Below is a listing of some of the clubs and activities that are available in Oliver's Battery. If you belong to or run such a club and it's not listed then please let us know about you.

Olivers Battery Heritage Project	Local residents at Oliver's Battery, in co-operation with Winchester Museums Service, are working on a two-year project to try to discover more about the heritage of the parish, and to tell the story of its development from earliest times to the 20th century.
Battery Club	The Battery Club is a branch of Club Hampshire. Club Hampshire promotes the well-being of older and disabled people by providing the best possible range of day care and support services
Olivers Battery Countryside Group	The aim of this new community group is to conserve, sustain and enhance the natural landscape and wildlife of OliverÃ¢â‚¬â„¢s Battery parish. Visit their own website at www.oliversbatterycountrysidegroup.org.uk/
University of the Third Age	After the first age of childhood and full time education, and the second age of work and raising a family, there comes the third age of retirement. This is when people are free to come together to develop interests for which they may not previously have had time.
Olivers Battery Women's Institute	Oliver's Battery Women's Institute is a relatively new group being formed in the year 2000. Meetings are held on the third Tuesday of every month (except August) in St. Marks Church, starting at 7.30 for 7.45pm.
St Marks Church	St Mark's Church, Oliver's Battery Road South (opposite shops) Church of England, part of the parish of St Luke Winchester.
Olivers Battery Women's Group	Group meetings are held on the first and third Mondays of each month (public holidays excluded) from September to May inclusive, at 8.00pm in St. Mark's Church Hall.
