COMMUNITY ACTIVITIES IN BADGER FARM

BADGER FARM GARDEN COMPETITION

The judges were Phil Golding and Paul White from Hilliers, Winchester.

The front gardens were selected by our sub-committee (Anne Church, Fenella Jarvis, and Keith Taylor), not by the Hillier judges

First prize, back and front gardens went to Mrs. Hall of Plough Way. The judges complemented the owners on their choice of plants for both colour and size.

Runner up, back garden went to Mrs. Wood of Maytree Close, again the judges commented on the choice of plants for all seasons.

Highly commended back gardens were: Mrs. White of Honeysuckle Close and Mr Hotchen of Harvest Close.

Two more front gardens awarded prizes were Mrs Collins of Larkhill  (with back garden also highly commended)  and Ms Linden of Harvest Close.
